Chapter 257: Fighting Two Bear Man

When the Disaster Will of the previous Small Calamity had discovered him, it had controlled the strange goat in an attempt to kill him.

If the Disaster Will of the Remnant World did the same thing, would it control nearby 5th-Order Demonized Monsters to attack?

If that happened, Noah certainly wouldn’t hold back.

"The strength you displayed earlier was far too powerful," Freya said with a tense expression.

"There are no 6th-Order experts in the Outer Sea, so the Disaster Will will most likely teleport 6th-Order Demonized Monsters from the Inner Sea, or even the Central Continent."

"Teleport?" Noah nodded slightly.

"I understand. You should leave first."

"Once the fighting begins, I won’t be able to protect you."

Freya and the others were filled with gratitude.

They were not the type to become a burden, and they understood that staying behind would only hinder Noah.

"Sir, this contains the location and activation item for the teleportation array. Please... you must survive."

Freya handed Noah an item and a map, bowed solemnly, and quickly departed with her subordinates.

Watching them leave, Noah let out a quiet sigh of relief.

His situation was different from theirs.

Once the pure energy within his body was exhausted, he would be forcibly returned to Blue Star.

At this point, the pure energy inside him was nearly depleted, making it impossible for him to travel to the Central Continent alongside Freya and the others.

Noah also had no intention of exposing too many of his secrets, so he would eventually have needed an excuse to part ways with them.

Being discovered by the Disaster Will was undoubtedly the perfect opportunity, saving him the trouble of making up an excuse himself.

As the surrounding malice intensified at an alarming rate, a massive rift suddenly tore open in the space ahead.

Moments later, two terrifying figures stepped out from within the rift.

"6th Order."

Noah calmly watched the Demonized Monsters emerging from the rift.

These two 6th Order monsters belonged to the same race. Their bodies weren’t very large, standing only about ten meters tall, and were covered in fine black fur. They had strong, powerful legs, sharp claws gleaming with cold light, and massive bear heads resting on their necks.

A terrifying aura emanated from them, shaking the void.

"Bear-men?"

There were far too many types of Demonized Monsters, and Noah couldn’t identify them all. He could only distinguish them based on their appearance.

As soon as the two 6th Order Bear men emerged, they immediately spotted Noah in the distance.

"Big Brother, it’s an Awakener," said the Bear-men on the left.

"Second Brother, watch me tear him apart," the Bear men on the right said with fierce eyes.

"Don’t be careless. The opponent is also 6th Order. Be careful not to capsize in a small ditch. Let’s attack together."

In the blink of an eye, the two Bear-men finished their exchange.

The Bear-men on the left let out a roar, and immediately, the power of both Bear men began to surge. Even their bodies double in size, and even more terrifying aura erupted from them. At the same time, two massive phantoms appeared behind them.

"Boom."

The bear man on the right instantly charged toward Noah and fiercely slashed down with a claw. The void within a thousand kilometers shattered immediately, and a massive claw shadow lunged toward Noah.

The other Bear man wasn’t idle either and attacked at the same time.

Two massive claw shadows, each several kilometers long, blocked Noah’s escape routes.

Seeing this, Noah remained clam. He threw out a punch, instantly shattering one of the claw shadows, then quickly flew out of the encirclement.

He didn’t display overly powerful strength.

The attributes of these two Bear men were only around fifty to sixty million, far inferior to the Demon lord form the Hundred Year Agreement instance. Noah didn’t even need to enter his burst state to suppress them easily in his normal state.

Although Noah’s attributes, excluding spirit, were slightly weaker than theirs, his powerful Combat Arts and Epic Skills were enough to bridge the slight gap and even surpass them.

To truly defeat them, he wouldn’t even need to enter burst state. He could simply use high multiplier attack skills, or even drag the fight out for a while and still emerge victorious.

However, Noah didn’t do that.

Killing these two Bear-men would be easy, but the Disaster Will of the Remnant World possessed the ability to teleport Demonized Monsters. He didn’t want to face an endless stream of Demonized Monsters, or even Abyssal Demons, being teleported over.

At least, not yet.

He still wanted to visit the Demon Subduing Alliance and see it for himself. He couldn’t allow himself to be held back by the Disaster Will of the Remnant World.

After all, Noah currently had no reliable way to evade the Disaster Will’s scans.

Aura concealment wasn’t foolproof. Once the Disaster Will focused more attention on him, his concealment would immediately fail.

"It seems the Abyssal Demons in the Three-tailed Giant Fox’s memory were teleported to the Outer Sea by the Disaster Will to deal with enemies. That’s probably why it saw them."

The World Shard where the Three-tailed Giant Fox resided was undoubtedly located in the Outer Sea, while the Abyssal Demons were in the Central Continent. Under normal circumstances, there should have been no interaction between them. However, the Three-tailed Giant Fox’s memory contained the existence of Abyssal Demons, which was likely due to a situation similar to Noah’s, where an Abyssal Demon had been teleported to the Outer Sea by the Disaster Will.

Of course, other possibilities couldn’t be ruled out.

After all, Abyssal Demons were the masters of Demonized Monsters, and their status far surpassed that of ordinary Demonized Monsters. The Disaster Will might not even be capable of restraining them, allowing them to travel wherever they pleased.

Next, Noah led the two Bear-men away, fighting as they flew in the opposite direction from Blue Na and the others.

When they landed on World Shards, lower-level shards were destroyed immediately, while even fourth- and fifth-level World Shards suffered severe damage, resulting in countless casualties.

The two Bear-men completely disregarded friendly fire. To them, Demonized Monsters were endless. Killing a few was meaningless.
