Chapter 114 Solomon: Control the Children
"You didn't know that?" Amon pushed up his monocle, looking surprised.
"So I just want you to be happy, Amon." Rosen reached out and patted Amon on the shoulder, saying, "A free little raven shouldn't be bound by the past."
"—I remember someone was also part of the past." Amon looked up at him and smiled. "Are you trying to persuade me to cut ties with you? Well, I'd be more than happy to."
"Wrong, I'm not the past, I'm the trinity of past, present and future!" Rosen said with a smile, then lowered his eyes to meet Amon's gaze, his expression suddenly becoming more serious.
Amon was waiting for him to speak, but was suddenly caught off guard when someone grabbed a handful of his hair.
"Rosen, you bastard!" Amon instantly felt his fist harden.
"Hmm, but you can't beat me anyway." Rosen said this in a rather perfunctory manner. He then laughed and said, "Amon, I won't argue with you about whether the true creator is Sasriel or not. After all, we have different values! I can't convince you, and you can't convince me."
"But I still hope that you can accept the true Creator, even if you don't see Him as Sasriel, but only as a tool left by your father, as a continuation of His love for you." Rosen looked at Amon and said with a smile, "Otherwise you would be too pitiful! Look, in this era, you have neither a father nor brothers, nor friends, and you don't even have any believers. You are like a deserted island."
Amon paused upon hearing this, looked at Rosen, and said, "It's not your place to pity me. Do you think I'm like you? I'm not some pathetic creature who can't live without love."
"I know you're not." Rosen looked at him calmly and said earnestly, "I just hope that you can have these things. Just think of it as me putting myself in your shoes, Amon. I still hope that you can have some of the happiness that ordinary people have. Only in this way can you grow up."
"—Ridiculous!" After a few seconds of silence, Amon looked at Rosen and gave a mocking smile: "You're always so weak. This soft heart will get you killed sooner or later."
Just like—killing one's father.
A sharp pain flashed through Amon's heart.
"Amon, don't worry, I won't die!" Rosen suddenly said, clearly having figured something out.
"Who cares if you live or die?" Amon said coldly.
"Hmm, you don't care about me." Rosen nodded perfunctorily, ceasing his argument with Amon. Instead, he looked at Solomon beside him with interest and asked enthusiastically, "Are you the Black Emperor Solomon?"
Feeling somewhat awkward after witnessing the affairs of the True Creator's family, and unsure whether to leave, the Black Emperor Solomon clearly hadn't expected the topic to suddenly shift to him. He paused for a moment, then said without changing his expression, "You must be Rosen Nicholas, whom the True Creator mentioned?"
"That's right!" Rosen nodded, speaking with great familiarity, "Your Majesty Solomon, although this is our first meeting, since you and Second Father are allies, we can be considered half acquaintances!"
Solomon remained noncommittal about his words, and his gaze then fell on the group of people behind Rosen. Medici had nothing to say; he was an old acquaintance. Although he didn't know why Medici had suddenly resurrected, Solomon wasn't the type to inquire about such matters.
Ammon was an old acquaintance, and because of the recent family drama, His intentions had been revealed. So even though the other party was now technically part of the Thodol camp, Solomon didn't say much.
He has never liked to meddle in other people's family affairs.
Antigonus was still a familiar face, but his presence here was clearly somewhat unexpected.
"Ahem, don't look at me. I'm now following Rosen, but I'm an undercover agent under Tudor." Antigonus coughed somewhat uncomfortably in the face of Solomon's gaze, trying to explain, but he blurred the timeline.
Solomon was clearly somewhat surprised by this, and his gaze fell on Rosen again, with a hint of inquiry.
The true creator did not elaborate on Rosen's existence to his allies, only mentioning it briefly, but Solomon had a vague sense of the special nature of this angel of life.
Unlike Antigonus, who needed to be reminded to realize it, as a Sequence 0, he had already noticed some discrepancies in his memories. However, the Black Emperor was not so far-fetched as to think that Rosen had changed history. Instead, he believed that his memories had been modified in his early years and had only recently been restored.
This also explains why, as the son of the sun god, Rosen was known to very few people before this—
Perhaps the former sun god, for some reason, erased Rosen's traces and even altered everyone's memories.
Considering that the other party is, after all, a semi-pillar level entity, and that the channel includes the audience, this is not necessarily impossible.
"What's wrong?" Rosen looked at Solomon with an innocent expression, then seemed to realize something and said, "Oh right, Your Majesty Solomon, you should know the others, so I won't introduce them. This is Klein, a former ally of the Sun God, who has only recently awakened. He came with me to see an old friend."
Upon hearing this, Solomon's gaze fell on Klein, and then he frowned slightly.
Because Klein deliberately concealed the power of the Source Castle, Solomon naturally didn't immediately see anything special about the person in front of him, but he still sensed something.
The other party is dangerous!
"He was indeed my former ally," the True Creator said from the side, essentially giving Klein a boost of confidence.
Solomon glanced at the true Creator, knowing that his ally held many secrets, after all, the other was once an incarnation of that being. So in the end, Solomon simply nodded to Klein, acknowledging him as such.
"Since you're going to host your children, I won't stay here any longer and disturb you," Solomon continued. As a respectable person, he would have left long ago if he hadn't wanted to find out what was going on with this group of noisy people who had come over.
After all, the Black Emperor has no interest in the family affairs of the true Creator.
"Leaving already?" Rosen warmly grabbed him, smiling broadly, "Why don't you stay for a meal? Don't you want to find out what's going on between me and Klein? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
O
These overly direct words clearly made Solomon unable to remain calm. He couldn't help but glance at the true Creator, and his meaning was as follows:
Aren't you going to take care of your child?
The true Creator responded with a calm gaze:
Do you think I can control this?
This reply left Solomon speechless. He reflected on everything that had just happened and had to admit a fact: the true Creator probably really couldn't control this child who had suddenly appeared. After all, the other party could even suppress Ammon, which showed how difficult he was to deal with.
