The man in front of me burst into wild laughter, his mouth opening strangely wide to a degree that was difficult for an ordinary person to achieve.
"No one can see through my schemes."
Patrick, Heislati, and their three voices spoke simultaneously.
“It was me, Hesladi. I learned of the whereabouts of the Dragon Mad Lock, but I lacked the manpower to retrieve it. So I deceived my twin brother, making him believe that it was a brilliant plan of his to use the Dragon Mad Lock to eliminate my representative and the one-eyed blind man at the same time, thereby weakening my consciousness and thus destroying me.”
He laughed.
“Foolish, utterly foolish. My poor brother Amur, he really fell for it, letting his foolish fishermen and followers go to salvage the Dragon's Madness Lock. So stupid! That idiot who thinks he's so rational and despises my rage, doesn't he know that rationality means rules and rules mean there are patterns to follow! That rigid-minded fool is not worthy of being Demogorgon!”
The six-armed serpent demon, disguised as squad leader El, paid no heed to his mad ramblings.
As Patrick burst into maniacal laughter, another tall figure silently appeared beside him.
This man was completely naked except for a gourd-shaped genital protector tied around his waist. His dark body, covered in tattoos, was marked with burn scars, and his eyes, like Patrick's, resembled two bottomless black holes.
She looked at the cold iron spear in his hand and recognized it as the native who had been chasing her.
The murmurs turned into the voices of six people.
"Foolish Amur, attempting to exploit the Dragon Frenzy Lock. The Dragon Frenzy Lock drives dragons mad, but madness is the source of Demogorgon's power! The Dragon Frenzy Lock will only strengthen Hesrati's power, strengthen my power!"
Patrick and the native Tusu stared at her with their black, abyssal eyes.
"No matter where the Dragon Maniac is locked up, I can sense it through the evil mark left by that idiot through his foolish spokesperson, Burktura."
"By orchestrating slaughter and draining souls around it, we can repair it and reactivate it!"
"When the power of the Dragon's Madness Lock is unleashed, the one-eyed blind man will become a madman who cannot distinguish friend from foe. And I, the dragon of strife and tyranny, the great Hesrati, the invincible Demogorgon, will gain supreme power!"
"Raze the city of the fiery earth, kill the three fools, and absorb their divinity and immortality!"
"Then I can destroy Amur's biggest idiot consciousness, and I, Demogorgon, will become the only Demogorgon!"
Out of the corner of his eye, the six-armed snake demon noticed a third figure appear behind him.
The elegant scent of perfume had been replaced by the smell of burning. Hair and face were burned, and only black holes remained, staring straight at the six-armed snake demon who had become squad leader El.
She recognized her at a glance as the Sanlachi woman who had brushed past her at the foot of the obelisk.
Three people slowly surrounded her, simultaneously uttering nine high-pitched sounds:
"But you, you damned thief!"
"Dare to steal the key to Demogorgon's path to wholeness, and burn the souls of hundreds and thousands of warriors in the harbor!"
"Kill you, and reclaim my soul!"
“Killing you will activate the Dragon Madness Lock, and Demogorgon will gain complete control!”
Chapter 81 The Complete Demon Body (Text)
Amidst the high-pitched screams of the demon lord's servants, a magical glow illuminated the dark cabin.
The tall native pointed his cold iron spear at the six-armed serpent demon who had transformed into Squad Leader El. A green beam from the "Dimensional Anchor" shot out from the spear tip, striking the six-armed serpent demon squarely in the back.
In an instant, the imposter squad leader, El, was enveloped by a faint green light field that blocked the teleportation effect.
But "he" stood firmly in place, seemingly unaffected at all.
His emerald green vertical pupils fixed on Patrick.
The "Hunting Mortals" ability of the Mortal Hunter class not only enhances the Six-Armed Serpent Demon's destructive power against the physical bodies of mortal creatures, but also improves her insight into the behavior of mortal creatures.
—If the enemy doesn't move, I don't move; if the enemy wants to move, I move first.
From the moment the three surrounded her, she focused all her attention on Patrick and Lana, even at the cost of falling into Tusu's "dimensional anchor".
Her intuition told her that these two men posed a far greater threat to her than the natives.
She saw Patrick raise the hand wearing the magic ring.
At the same time, Lana, with her jet-black eyes, also launched her attack from behind. Manipulated by her mind-controlled ring, six brass demon-binding insignia shot towards the six-armed serpent demon like six bullets!
The six-armed serpent demon reacted in the blink of an eye.
The two men had barely made a move when she made the first one.
Before the brass bead could fully take off, the six-armed serpent demon, its body shimmering with a faint emerald light, charged headlong into the numerous suspended "Dragon Madness Lock" cubes.
Patrick was about to activate the magic in the ring, but hesitated slightly when he looked at the large pile of "Dragon Madness Lock" fragments.
The cubes of various sizes, chained to the cabin floor, floated in mid-air, swaying gently, like a dense seaweed jungle in the deep sea.
In such a fragmented environment, even if the "Force Wall Technique" is used, countless gaps will appear, making it impossible to stop people.
The floating cube jungle also obscured Lana's vision.
The mind-controlled brass demon-binding emblem crashed into a cube about half the size of a person. Before they could even make contact, it was repelled by the repulsive field attached to the fragment of the "Dragon Madness Lock" and fell to the ground out of control.
The cubes floated and swayed chaotically, then closed up again behind the intruder in the blink of an eye.
The six-armed serpent demon's figure vanished between the cubes.
Go! Grab her! Grab her! Grab her!
Haisrati's furious roars echoed in the minds of the three servants, bombarding them until their heads went numb and blood trickled from their eyes and noses.
However, Patrick's gentle whispers softened Haislatti's frenzied roars.
[Please wait a moment, Master, I request to take over command.]
Patrick's telepathic theory.
The pressure on the three people's minds increased infinitely in the next instant.
Patrick managed to stand, his mouth tightly shut. Lana and Tusu, on the other hand, collapsed to the ground, their screams echoing through the dark cabin of the pilgrimage ship.
The mighty roar nearly tore their reason apart.
I swear, you will get everything.
Patrick's voice remained unchanged: "[Great King of Strife and Tyranny, I offer her and the 'Dragon's Wrath Lock' to you.]"
The roar in his mind turned into wild laughter.
I appreciate your willingness to volunteer, my loyal servant. But do not fail, or I will take your soul, and yours, and yours as well.
Haislatti's will suddenly vanished.
Patrick blinked, and his dark eyes regained their clear black and white.
He raised his hand to wipe the blood from his face, turned to look at the cabin behind him leading to the upper bridge, and then sensed the presence of the other two people:
Stay calm, she can't escape.
“We have no need to be enemies, Six-Armed Serpent Demon.”
Patrick raised his voice.
As he spoke, he slowly took out the dimensional positioning device from his dimensional bag and attached it to the hatch with a "thud".
A green, luminous force field barrier, similar to the "dimensional anchor," spread from the hatch to the walls, and then from the walls in all directions, rapidly covering all the walls, ceilings, and floors inside the cabin.
The entire lower deck was enveloped in the magical effect of the "dimensional lock".
Now, no matter who it is, or what kind of interdimensional teleportation magic, or other similar spell-like abilities or psychic powers they use, they can forget about teleporting out of the pilgrimage ship's lower deck.
"My master only desires the Dragon's Frenzy Lock. But the one who truly wants to capture you is someone else, Archmage Zaire. Does that name ring a bell?"
Patrick listened intently and could faintly hear long, drawn-out breathing coming from the darkness. He clearly sensed that it was the sound of long-suppressed anger.
He took out two new magic rings and put them on his hands, one on each hand.
Then he gestured to Tusu.
See where she is.
Tusu understood immediately and lay prone on the ground, casting "Detect Demon" from below the cube jungle towards the opposite side.
Patrick asked, "How is it?"
Tusu looked up at Patrick: [Slightly towards the stern, diagonally opposite]
He even gestured an angle to Patrick.
Patrick nodded.
He silently activated his "dark vision," kneeling on one knee and, imitating Tusu, pressing his face against the cabin floor to peer across.
A gaze that pierced through the darkness, passing through countless chains in the cubic jungle, revealed two feet on the other side.
Patrick blinked, as if trying to etch the image into his mind.
He stood up again, brushed the dust off his knees, and then used "Biolocation" to firmly point at the two feet on the other side of the numerous iron chains.
This magic can be used to pinpoint the location and distance of a creature. The location will change if the creature moves. There is no magic resistance or saving throw to break it. The more familiar you are with the creature, the more intuitive your understanding of it will be, and the more accurate your location will be.
He was right; he sensed it: she was right there, standing close to a relatively large cube.
"The Archmage of Zaire, the King of Samarach, has specifically requested that we capture you and bring you to him."
He said, "What should we call you, Six-Armed Serpent Demon? El, Ivy-Beate? Ariel-van-Boto's Demonic Concubine, or something else, like... Chu Shixin?"
This time, the dark hold was no longer silent.
A few seconds later, Ivy Beatrice's cool voice came through: "...Ivy, Ivy Beatrice."
“Ms. Ivy Beatrice, no problem.”
Patrick said, “You see, a response is the beginning of good communication. I have a win-win proposal. Would you like to hear it?”
There was no response from the other side.
“Madam, your enemy is the Archmage of Zaire. My master, the great Red Dragon Lord, also has the Archmage of Zaire as his enemy. You can see for yourself, they are fighting fiercely outside.”
Just then, he heard a soft knocking sound coming from the hatch behind him.
Patrick opened the hatch and was pleased to see a snake-man priest leading three mantis-men slip in silently. These alien races could see in the dark as if it were daytime, and they all carried cold iron weapons specifically designed to subdue demons.
These four were his last remaining troops, and also his most loyal followers of Hesrati. All the others perished under the raging breath of the two-headed red dragon.
[Flank her, she's at the eleven o'clock position]
He watched as the snake-man priest and the mantis man slowly crept along the cabin wall from the left side of the cube toward her position.
"But to take down Archmage Zaire, we must also confront his two other allies. So..."
Patrick's calm and sincere voice echoed in the darkness.
"...Ms. Ivy Beatrice, what reason do we have to kill each other?"
At this moment, however, there was no one at the hatch.
A mouth had somehow appeared on the wall beside the hatch, speaking in Patrick's voice: "...Zaire, and his allies the Bronze Dragons and Gilejin, are our common enemy..."
There was no reaction from the other side of the cube jungle either.
Patrick silently walked into the cube jungle, heading straight for "Ivy Beate" as he played a message at his previous location using "magic mouth magic."
He walked among the many cubes with his hands in his pockets.
The repulsive force inherent in the fragments of the "Dragon Madness Lock" caused them to automatically separate in front of him, and then automatically close up behind him after he passed by.
"...Why don't we unite and join forces with them?"
As he drew closer to his target, Patrick deftly drew a blood-red recurve knife from his waist.
Patrick used "bio-location" to sense the target's location as he walked.
The magical feedback told him that the six-armed serpent demon who called himself "Ivy-Beate" was still in the same place, unchanged.
We're very close now; the target is just ahead, separated by a cube about half the size of a person.
He glanced around quickly out of the corner of his eye.
On either side of him were Countess Lana and the native Tusu. Further to the left, beyond the cube-shaped jungle, the shadowy figures of snake people and mantis people could be seen.
Both groups were now in position, while the demonic mouth in the distance continued its incessant chatter:
"Now, as long as you hand over the numerous souls needed to activate the Dragon Madness Lock, my master can help you destroy Zaire. Everyone's happy, isn't that wonderful?"
Patrick lowered his gaze and looked down at the bottom of the cube in front of him.
Beside the chains, Ivy Beatrice's feet protrude from beneath the cube.
They never moved from the beginning.
