She quickly found Mutsuka Wakaba and proposed a brand new band project, as well as a worldview called "Ave Mujica".
At that time, she had not yet accepted Akira Kurusu's invitation to form a band, nor had she even become a Persona user.
But experiences always change a person.
The same goes for Toyokawa Shoko.
She had been living in her own dream, until one day she woke up and matured into a more reliable and composed heir to a large family.
But she inadvertently trapped the girl who had been waiting for her all along with that naive dream she once had.
Looking at the suddenly unfamiliar look in Wakaba Mutsu's eyes, Toyokawa Shoko felt as if the softest part of her heart had been torn open by something sharp, causing a bloody pain.
"May I have your name?"
She cautiously inquired of "Wakaba Mutsu" in front of her.
Seeing Toyokawa Shoko's tearful appearance, the anger in Wakaba Mutsu's eyes gradually subsided. She reluctantly looked away, pouting like a sulking child, "Mortis."
“Mortis…” Toyokawa Shoko immediately realized the meaning of the name. It was the identity and code name she had given to Wakaba Mutsumi in the dream of the new band called “Ave Mujica”.
She hugged her "half-body" tightly, tears streaming down her face, almost sobbing uncontrollably, "I'm sorry, Xiao Mu... I'm really, really sorry..."
Mortis stared blankly at the young lady wailing in his arms, his pupils trembling violently, as he asked her with difficulty.
"It wasn't your fault at all, why are you apologizing...?"
Akira Kurusu looked at the newly formed personality within Mutsuka Wakaba's body and asked, "You appeared to protect Mutsuka, didn't you?"
Mortis... or rather, Mortis, when faced with Akira's question, simply nodded helplessly.
Her face still bore the traces of tears that Wakaba Mutsu had just shed.
Akira Kurusu asked her as if pressing her for an answer, "When Mutsumi was all alone, you were always there for her, right?"
Mottis instinctively hugged Toyokawa Shoko in her arms; her body had acted on its own.
She nodded and then shook her head. "Although I've been with Xiao Mu all along, the one who truly helped Xiao Mu persevere until now is actually this...this..." She changed "this woman" to "Toyokawa Shoko" with some difficulty.
"Actually, it's Xiaomu's trust in Toyokawa Shoko."
After finishing speaking, Motis suddenly breathed a sigh of relief, then said sullenly, "But during that time, her trust in Toyokawa Shoko was also about to collapse."
Shoko Toyokawa had barely managed to stop her tears, but upon hearing these words, she couldn't help but burst into tears again.
Akira Kurusu continued to question Metaphor, "You should know that Mu's condition is so serious that she needs to see a psychologist, right?"
"I know! I tried having her split into a personality called 'Doctor,' but it didn't work at all!" Motis said irritably.
Lai Xixiao's eyes twitched slightly. Suppressing the urge to retort, she still asked her seriously, "If you could cure Xiao Mu, would you be willing to disappear?"
Motis suddenly froze, staring at the boy in front of her with an incredulous look, and then shouted.
"No! I don't want to disappear!"
"why?"
“I just don’t want it!” Mortis acted like a spoiled child.
There must be a reason for everything.
"Because I like you!" she said without hesitation.
Shoko Toyokawa stopped crying. She released "Muku Wakaba" from her arms and turned to strangle her philandering boyfriend behind her.
Akira Kurusu quickly dodged the teary-eyed Shoko Toyokawa's pursuit, "Could you explain that more clearly!"
Motis also followed Toyokawa Shoko, saying, "Because Mutsu said she likes you, I like you too!"
"Then why don't you like Xiangzi?"
“Toyokawa Shoko is your girlfriend!” Motis said matter-of-factly. “I don’t like playing in a band. I only care about whether Mutsu is happy, so I want this woman… uh, I want Toyokawa Shoko to be as far away from you as possible.”
"Do you think that if you stay inside Xiaomu's body, she will be happy?"
Motis froze on the spot.
Toyokawa Shoko also fell silent.
She turned around and looked at "Wakaba Mutsu" with some nervousness.
Metis trembled, seemingly bewildered, and covered her face. Then she looked up at the two people in front of her with a helpless and heartbroken gaze.
"Can't I... really stay?"
“You are a personality created to protect Xiaomu, and you are also part of her will to fight against the whole world.” Akira Kurusu approached Metath. “I want you to stay because of my own selfish reasons, but if Xiaomu just wants to be an ordinary and healthy girl, then you should disappear.”
“Xiao Mu said I could stay.” Metasis stepped forward, grasped Lai Xixiao’s sleeve, and gently shook it. “Can I stay?”
"You should consult a psychologist about this."
"Then I don't want to see a doctor!"
"If Xiaomu doesn't see a doctor, she will stay sick forever."
Metis looked at Toyokawa Shoko, who was sobbing beside her, her gaze almost pleading.
"Xiangzi..."
Shoko Toyokawa couldn't bear to look at the Phantom Thief of the Mind beside her.
The phantom thief calmly and resolutely shook his head. "Do you want to watch Xiao Mu go through life and death with us?"
"Now we're back to the original question, Xiangzi, are you capable of carrying the burden of Wakaba Mutsu's life?"
Toyokawa Shoko suddenly grabbed Metis's hand and then, as if in despair, handed it to Kurusu Akira. "I can't do it, but you can."
Metis looked at Toyokawa Shoko beside her incredulously. "You..."
Toyokawa Shoko simply avoided her gaze, somewhat annoyed.
So, Metis fell silent.
After a long while, she whispered, "Okay."
"Stop arguing. I'm going to see a psychologist. Whether I stay or not, let the doctor decide."
Suddenly, the rich expressions on "Wakaba Mutsumi's" face vanished without a trace.
Wakaba Mutsu looked down at the hand being held by Kurusu Akira, tears streaming down her face. "I'm so lucky."
She said in a voice trembling with tears.
Akira Kurusu suddenly turned her head to look at the darkness outside the window.
A white creature, resembling a rabbit or a cat, a strange hybrid, sitting on a distant treetop, sat in the shadow of a rag doll.
It met Akira's gaze with its eyes, which looked like bright red beads sewn onto its face.
"oops......"
The beast muttered to itself.
"This is bad."
Then it suddenly leaped down from the treetop, trying to escape.
However, it was dragged into impression space much faster than it imagined.
The phantom thief had appeared in front of it without it even noticing.
Akira Kurusu stared at it, her heart filled with horror, recalling the plot of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica"—
Magical girls really do exist in the world.
"Who are you?" he asked, knowing the answer already.
“Cupid,” said the beast, “is a good friend of humankind.”
Cupid squatted down, giving up on running away. "You can't hurt me, I've been here all along..."
No sooner had the words left his mouth than a giant spear fell from the sky, smashing down on its head and embedding it deeply into the floor.
“I remember now,” Akira Kurusu said as the figure of the Persona “Dioscuri” flashed by beside him.
He stared indifferently at the creature in front of him who called himself Cupid.
“I sensed your presence a long time ago from some clown-like guy.”
"Furthermore, since even someone like you has appeared, it means..."
The massive muzzle was brimming with an iridescent light capable of destroying everything.
A deafening roar, as if the heavens and earth were collapsing, drowned out the phantom thief's thoughtful mutterings.

(I wrote 10,000 words, but one chapter of "five-in-one" can't tell the whole story of Ruoye Mu's awakening and her parents' repentance. It has to be told in two big chapters... This chapter is cut into "four-in-one" as a prelude. The extra section will be combined into a big chapter tomorrow.)
(Tomorrow, like yesterday, will be another long chapter combining seven chapters; I'll try to finish it all at once.)
(Anyway, please vote for me with monthly tickets in order to save up for the frequent updates!!!)

Wakaba Mutsu rubbed her eyes.
It was quite certain that Akira Kurishi, a living person, had vanished into thin air in front of him for about a few seconds, and then suddenly reappeared.
Toyokawa Shoko clearly sensed what Kurusu Akira had just done—
The moment the hostile target was identified, the Mind Thief immediately shattered the "barrier" that stretched from in front of him to around the enemy, forcibly dragging both sides into the space of impressions.
Then, he probably took out a Persona called "Satanyal" and instantly killed the enemy that Toyokawa Shoko couldn't see as a threat...
It was clearly the first time I had ever seen such a strange creature.
Toyokawa Shoko, however, felt an indescribable loathing.
It was as if... she had dealt with it for a long time at an unknown time and place.
Wakaba Mutsu's gaze followed Kurusu Akira's shoulder to the distant treetops.
Outside the window, the night was dark, with only the city's light pollution flowing like mist under the sky.
"It seems like something white disappeared there."
"You can see it?" Akira Kurusu, back to reality, looked at the girl in front of her without blushing or panting.
It seemed that completing the series of actions—"dragging the enemy into the Impression Space," "forcibly summoning 'Satanyel'," and "firing the [Great Sin Armor-Piercing Bullet]"—in just three seconds hadn't taken much of a strain on him.
Ruo Yemu hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded.
Shoko Toyokawa rubbed her red, swollen eyes and asked Akira Kurusu in a slightly hoarse voice, "Is something terrible about to happen?"
“That was originally the case.” Akira Kurusu approached Mutsuka Wakaba, took her hand without a word, and led her out of the music room. “But it’s been resolved now.”
"What is that?"
“Aliens, incubators, proliferating G, Emiri Kato…” Akira Kurusu casually rattled off a long string of words that Shoko Toyokawa couldn’t understand.
He had composed himself, and after considering the Personas driven by "despair" under the control of those evil gods, he finally understood the rationale behind *Puella Magi Madoka Magica* becoming a part of reality—
So those guys were using humans as expendable resources, mass-producing them like an assembly line – utterly hopeless.
Akira Kurusu remembered Homura Akemi, whom he had met at the restaurant a while ago, and finally understood why the girl who should have been studying in Mitakihara City had suddenly found him, and... He looked at Mutsumi Wakaba beside him.
