Chapter 169. Breaking Down Psychological Defenses
A bizarre scene unfolded in the sky.
A human being, by simply extending one arm, brought a warship larger than New York to a standstill. The man's face showed no sign of distress, only indifference, and even a hint of a smile.
"Oh my God, no! My Ultraman, this is a miracle!" The humans on the ground looked up at the sky in devotion.
Looking at Steve, who was like a god, how could he defeat such a technological creation with a human body? What else could he be but a god?
Inside the warship.
An eerie silence fell over the entire observation room. They could accept the destruction of the warship, but they could not accept that it had been so easily intercepted by a living being.
Especially since this life form was a human, whom they had previously looked down upon.
But what could they do if they couldn't accept it? Once they left the warship, their physical bodies were no match for this superhuman.
A palpable pallor spread across Roger's blue skin, a mixture of fear and anger, as even being on a warship offered him no sense of security.
Enraged, he ordered, "Perform a spatial jump and exile this damned human through a wormhole!"
"Yes!" The researcher swallowed hard and used the control panel with trembling hands, ignoring the potential spatial turbulence in Earth's space.
As the space jump device was activated, the warship trembled slightly.
Roger breathed a sigh of relief. No matter how strong this human was, he couldn't possibly tear a wormhole apart. That's something that the human body can't do.
However, after the warship trembled, the familiar feeling of weightlessness did not occur. The warship remained in place, and in the center of the screen was still that familiar human face.
"What happened?" Roger's voice trembled.
The researchers stared in horror at the control panel, saying incredulously, "Captain Rogge, control of the warship has been taken away. From this moment on, this warship, along with the rest of the warships, belongs to the Star of Light."
After he finished speaking, he pointed shakily at the screen.
Rogge looked up and saw a sun-like logo appear on the screen, followed by a human face he had never seen before.
"Hi, Creepers, how are you?"
Stark on the screen waved hello.
The Kree inside the warship fell silent. These were combat-type humans with unparalleled physical strength, and intelligent humans who could seize control of the warship at will.
In just a few minutes, one side overwhelmed them in combat ability, while the other side overwhelmed them in technology.
For a moment, the Kree present were bewildered. Were they still one of the three great empires of the universe? How could such a remote Earth have such an existence? If they had known Earth was this powerful, they would never have dared to come and seize the Infinity Stones.
Stark's face darkened with anger when he saw that the Kree remained silent. Wasn't this a blatant disregard for him? To be afraid of a mere brute and ignore him was an insult to his intelligence.
Stark then activated the device in his hand, and a huge rift appeared in the sky, sucking in all the warships present and transferring them to the Star of Light.
Rogge, aboard the warship, felt a sense of weightlessness, and a blinding white light flashed before his eyes. He instinctively closed his eyes.
When the white light faded and they opened their eyes again, they found themselves in another world, a white world shimmering with a faint light.
For some reason, as soon as they arrived in this world, they felt a sense of peace, as if this were a pure land in the universe.
"Hey! Kree, can you hear me now?" Stark's voice rang out again, not on the screen, but right in front of them.
Rogge's eyes narrowed, and he instantly unleashed his warrior instincts, grabbing Stark with lightning speed. He had already devised a plan: capture this tech worker and threaten the group of Earthlings to let them leave.
However, the idea was good, but reality was cruel. His hand, as it approached Stark, mysteriously stopped, as if an invisible force was preventing him from harming Stark.
"What the hell?" Roger felt his understanding collapse once again; everything before him defied common sense.
Stark shook his head and scoffed, "Harm the members of the Star of Light on the Star of Light? You really don't respect Ultraman at all. This is the super planet he created."
"Ultraman? Wasn't he captured by the god Aristom?" Even though he couldn't move, Roger was still trying to extract information. He firmly believed that the information transmission system left by the supreme intelligence could send information back to Earth.
"Arithm?" Stark narrowed his eyes, thought for a moment, and said, "You mean that big red guy? He's long dead, not even a trace left."
"What? This is impossible? Arithm is a being that can easily destroy the universe. You're lying to me!" Rogge's tone was already tinged with despair.
"Believe it or not." Stark shrugged. He had figured it out. This so-called Kree civilization empire seemed to have a religious belief. They had a morbid faith in this so-called supreme intelligence and believed almost everything he said.
"Jarvis, dismantle the metal from these alien warships. To be honest, their technology is pretty bad; the only thing worth using is this alien metal," Stark said casually, preparing to break down the aliens' last psychological defenses.
"The Kree technology is the strongest!" Before Rogge could speak, the researcher objected.
"Heh." Stark chuckled coldly. "Look up at your heads."
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone looked up in unison.
Several white warships, identical in appearance to them, were seen in the sky absorbing the metal hull of the warship. The top of the warship had now been completely absorbed, casting a warm light.
Furthermore, after absorbing the Kree warships, those white warships became identical to the Kree warships in every detail, even down to the wear and tear, making them a one-to-one replica.
"No! Impossible! How could such technology exist on Earth? This is impossible! It's clearly just a backward, low-level civilization!" The researchers seemed unable to accept this—the technology they were so proud of had been so easily cracked.
Seeing the Kree's devastated state, Stark burst out laughing. With the environment of Star of Light and Jarvis's and his own super intelligence, technology was changing almost every day. What was the Kree Empire compared to that?
He turned his gaze to Rogge, his eyes deep, and said with schadenfreude, "Captain Rogge, don't even think about sending a message to the Supreme Intelligence. I've already cracked your system and sent a false message. It won't be long before your main force comes to Earth to take over everything~"
Rogge's pupils constricted, and he stared at Stark in disbelief. "This—how is this possible!"
