Chapter 180 Time Flies
Chapter 180 Time Flies
Chapter 180 Time Flies
Time flies. More than a month has passed since Loila and Mr. Lupin's magic circle adventure, and life at Hogwarts seems to be coming to an end.
Loila sighed softly, looking at the dates on the calendar in front of her and counting them on her fingers.
It seemed that in another month, she would no longer be a professor at Hogwarts—Loyla couldn't help but purse her lips and begin to reflect on the past few months.
Well—first, I became a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, a class I'd never taught before; second, I made many friends—Luna, Hagrid, Miss Nagini—and people who were no longer my friends.
Mr. Riddle—Loira shook her head and banished him from her mind. He was Voldemort, and he had never been truly kind to her—there was no need for her to think about him.
After that—studying magic arrays on my own—attending class—studying magic arrays—playing with Luna—studying magic arrays—visiting Lovegood's house—studying magic arrays—
Cough cough cough — Loila shook her head, feeling that her salary seemed to have come a little too easily —
Wait, I was almost poisoned by Mr. Lockhart, almost killed by Voldemort's Unseen Blade, almost eaten by the giant octopus, and almost eaten by the Basilisk—
Wait, a basilisk?!
Loila seemed to suddenly remember something and patted her head.
I seem to have forgotten about the Basilisk. If I'm not mistaken—the so-called Slytherin successor of the Basilisk should be Mr. Riddle, right?
After all, it was he who led me to the secret chamber—now that I think about it, he probably wanted me to release the basilisk, right?
Or perhaps he'd let the basilisk eat him—Mr. Riddle shouldn't be that bad, right?
Loila shook her head and began to put the matter of the basilisk on her agenda—she should be able to try to tame it now, but it didn't seem to have much value—she already had a snake friend, and wasn't Miss Nagini more elegant and easier to communicate with than any basilisk?
Who would like an animal that swears all the time and wants to eat people?
Dumbledore, huh?
If I sell it to Dumbledore, will he offer a very high price?
Loila shook her head and kept the matter to herself, but the basilisk did need to be dealt with, and this should be her top priority in the coming months.
Aside from the Basilisk matter, I'll be meeting Lord Grindelwald soon—
Well!
Lord Grindelwald—fifty years have passed, will Lord Grindelwald still remember me? After all, I'm just—a good-for-nothing parasite—if he doesn't remember me, I'll definitely cry, won't I?
But if she remembered—she probably would cry too, right? After all, she had betrayed Lord Grindelwald's trust—Loira took a deep breath, sensing something was amiss.
It was clearly he who made the request to Dumbledore, but in the end, he was the one who was most afraid?
Loila covered her head, feeling anxious and uncertain, and dared not think about the future.
She never liked thinking about these things; the future was always something vague. The last time she thought about it was probably before graduation—during her few remaining meetings with Muller.
Ah—Müller—Loila inexplicably thought of that boy from her memories—
But whatever Loila was thinking about seemed to have no effect on the passage of time. In the blink of an eye, Loila's calendar had turned to the last page.
"Good afternoon, Miss Hamilton."
While the students were discussing their final exams, an uninvited guest slowly entered Loila's office.
"Ah—Dumbledore—" After a year, Loira felt that she was no longer so afraid of Dumbledore—at least she wouldn't feel terrified by his sudden greeting.
She no longer stammered out strange names; she was truly amazing—it seemed that only through this method could Royla muster the courage to stand before Dumbledore and look him in the eye.
Well!
It's still a bit scary — Loila lowered her head and pursed her lips.
"The weather's nice today," Dumbledore said, slowly sitting down and shrugging at the flustered Royla in front of him. "Are you busy with something?"
"Ah—no—I was just—I was just making a magic circle—" Loila explained softly. She had been researching automated magic circles recently, and there had been some progress on the new magic circle tools.
New magic array items will likely be made soon.
"I see." Dumbledore nodded knowingly and said, "Would you like to play a game of wizard chess with me?"
'
"Um?"
Are these two things related?
Before Loila could refuse, she saw Dumbledore flick his wand and summon the wizard chess set that was sitting in the corner.
Then, with Loila looking resistant, Dumbledore gently waved his wand, moving one of the pieces forward one step.

Under Dumbledore's expectant gaze, Royla pursed her lips helplessly and gently waved her wand.
Dumbledore chuckled softly as he watched the chess pieces move.
"Miss Hamilton, have you been practicing lately?" he asked, directing his pieces to capture Loila's. "Of course not—" Loila replied hesitantly, not wanting to tell Dumbledore that he played a game with her whenever he had nothing better to do.
Of course, I occasionally play against Miss Nagini—but I seem to have never won against her—
"I see—" Dumbledore nodded knowingly. "No wonder there's been no progress."

"Dumbledore, you bastard—" Royla gritted her teeth and gripped the hem of her clothes. This wretched old man must be mocking her, right?
Well then, watch closely, I won't hold back today!
"By the way, Miss Hamilton, what have you thought about my previous suggestion?"
"Bang!" Loila lost her grip and her wand knocked over one of her own pieces, causing the little man on horseback to cry out and fall off.
"Don't ask me something like that when you're so nervous!" Luo Yili had just started to feel like she was getting into the swing of things when Dumbledore's sudden question interrupted her.
Did you do this on purpose?
"Miss Hamilton?" Dumbledore asked again when Loyra did not respond.
"Hmm!" Loila pursed her lips and lowered her head slightly: "Not yet—"
"My abilities—" Loila said softly, "and I—don't want to—"
"I understand." Dumbledore shrugged, then captured one of Loila's pieces, smiling slightly under her glaring gaze. "I believe you will change your mind."
I don't believe it!
Loila shook her head and turned her gaze back to the chessboard. She quickly found a weakness in Dumbledore's strategy.
Heh heh, let me show you that my months of practicing Wizard Chess haven't been for nothing!
Loila had just picked up her wand when she heard Dumbledore cough.
"Oh, Miss Hamilton, there's also something about Grindelwald."
"Are you ready?"
"Smack."
The chess piece was knocked over again, and Loira looked at Dumbledore and took a deep breath.
Are you sure you didn't do it on purpose?
And also, it's Lord Grindelwald, for crying out loud!
